FSC

FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forest management. The FSC® system supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management practices. Since 2011, we have been using FSC® Mix and FSC® Recycled certified materials for the tissue products in the Home Fashion® collection. By using FSC®-certified supply chains, we support the responsible use and management of forest resources. (www.fsc.org)

Sedex

Carl Dietrich GmbH is a member of Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange). Sedex is a global membership organisation dedicated to driving improvements in ethical and responsible business practices across global supply chains. Sedex is home to one of the world’s largest collaborative platforms for buyers, suppliers and auditors to store, share and report on information around topics such as worker’s rights, health and safety, the environment and business ethics. Being a member of Sedex is a sign of Carl Dietrich GmbH’s ambition to sharing information and to using this information to recognise the impact of new regulation on business activities in good time and to reduce risks in a rapidly changing, networked business environment.

NORDIC ECO LABEL

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is the official ecolabel of the Nordic countries. It sets stringent environmental criteria throughout the life cycle of products and services and helps consumers make more environmentally conscious choices. Responsible use of natural resources is an important part of our approach. That is why we continuously work to reduce our consumption of resources and further develop our production processes. At our site, we operate a company-owned water turbine to partially meet our electricity needs with self-generated hydropower.

IFS

The IFS HPC Standard for household and personal care products covers the safety and quality management system as well as production processes. With our IFS HPC certification, we demonstrate that we meet the requirements of the standard for product safety and quality and are able to manufacture safe, high-quality products in accordance with legal requirements and customer specifications. The certification also supports our processes in the areas of transparency and traceability. It underlines our commitment to consistent quality assurance and the continuous improvement of our processes.
